Sirovasthi

Sirovasti involves the application of specific lukewarm oil to the head for a specific period of time. It is an effective treatment for nervous system disorders. In this treatment the patient is made to sit in a straight position on a chair with long leather cap tied to the head. After which lukewarm Ayurvedic oil is poured into the cap on the patient’s head after sometime the oil and cap is removed and the patient is given gentle neck and shoulder massage.
